The Woodlands Presents
The Annual

Wiener Dog Nationals!
July 27, 2008
(Tentative date pending KRGC approval)

Enter your dachshund today in the annual running of The Woodlands Wiener Dog Nationals. Eight qualifying heats will be run with the Grand Champion to be crowned among all the winners.

Whether your tiny racer is a sure-bet hot dog or a real loooong shot, just fill out this form and return it to The Woodlands by June 30th for a chance to participate in this fun-filled event.  All entrants must be real wieners (dachshunds) and between the ages of 6 months and 10 years. Proof of current bordatella, distemper and rabies shots will be required.  AKC registry is not required and there are no weight restrictions.

A random drawing will be held approximately July 1st to select 64 participants to the Wiener Dog Nationals. The chosen participants will be notified by telephone; those who are non-participants will be notified by mail.  The lucky 64 will compete through random race drawings and the winner of each qualifying heat will advance to the final race where the Grand Champion will be determined.

Chosen participants will be asked to pay a $5 entry fee.  A practice run and hot dog luncheon will be held during the week prior to the race.  Shot records and entry fee will be verified at that time.

Sorry -- only those canines chosen to participate will be allowed
entrance anywhere on the property.
No Spectator Canines Allowed.
