To date, over $4 million has been awarded to projects that touch the lives of Kansas citizens in need of assistance. This year, TRAK East will donate approximately $80,600.
Eligible Organizations are:
- exempt from payment of federal income taxes pursuant to Section 501 (c) (3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as in effect July 1, 1987.
- domiciled in the State of Kansas.
- required to expend the granted monies only within the State of Kansas.
Types of Programs Funded:
- Programs that will "touch" the people needing assistance.
- Building renovation or remodeling, especially for disabled or handicapped persons.
Types of Programs NOT Funded:
- Special events, endowments, research development, scholarships or like projects.
- Multi-year requests
- General operating support
- Start-up organizations
- Redistribution to other foundations or organizations
Funding Cycle:
- The funding period is for one year.
- Applications will be accepted through (and must be postmarked by) September 1, 2007.
- Funds will be awarded March or April of 2008.
