The Woodlands Race Park includes a dining room, a fully enclosed and air-conditioned 3-story greyhound grandstand overlooking the track, a 3-story horse grandstand overlooking the track, and an air-conditioned simulcast floor in the grandstand. That's right, nearly 700,000 square feet of spacious grounds to make your racing experience a pleasurable one.

Children are welcomed when accompanied by an adult.

Wagering at Woodlands Racing is easy and fun. There are tellers located in every area of the race track and there are hundreds of automated betting machines as well. A "how to bet" brochure is available.

All standard win - place - show - quiniella - exacta - trifecta - superfecta bets are accepted at Woodlands Racing. The tri-super and other jackpots are posted daily on electronic signs.

In the wooded rolling hills of Northeast Kansas, Woodlands Racing has built a racing legend. This first-of-its-kind complex in the mid-west houses separate greyhound and horse racing facilities on the same site. Each track has its own grandstand and support buildings while sharing parking. The festive 3 story grandstands are capped with "racing green", standing seam, and mansard roofs. Large round top windows give the entrance stately appearances.

A total of 48 separate buildings make up the racing facility. The greyhound track has a special silt material for the racing surface and a buried hot water track heating system for winter month operation. This is the first track in the nation to be constructed with a different radius at each end.
